You mean besides being across the street from one another, right? ;-)
Silver Dollar City is a traditional family park with a very long history. It’s been around for decades and has provided a great destination for families who want to see a great park, eat great food, see great shows and enjoy a fun day.

Celebration City is more of a newer “fun” park, that doesn’t necessarily have the saloon show type stuff and theming that SDC has.

Both are good parks. They’re just different.

    Hope that helps!

(And if you’re in the area, DO try to visit both parks!)

I’ve been to them both three times, and loved them each time!!!!!!

Silver Dollar City is based on the ‘olden days’. There are many demonstations on how people used to make candles, do glass blowing, carve objects out of blocks of wood, etc. There are many shops, and oldtime food stands. There’s also some rides. They also have bluegrass bands that play, and really it’s a nice and peaceful environment. There are a few roller coasters too, and I find those very good. There’s one called Fire In The Hole, and if you ever go there you should deffinately ride it. It’s indoor, and at the bottom you land in water (it’s enough to get wet, but not SOAKED).

Celebration City is kind of like a Six Flags. It’s got a few water rides, and it’s got your arcade, and many roller coasters. It’s extra neat because everynight at 10:00 P.M. they have a light show, which I can’t really explain but it’s awesome to watch.

If you are planning a trip to Branson, I think it’d be worthwhile to buy a package deal so that you can go to both parks at least once. They’re both worth it, really.

    I hope I helped. =]
