I’m curious to know what other families have for Christmas dinner. My family usually has Turkey with Stuffing and Gravy, Greens, Yams, Mash Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Pumpkin and Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream. One time my family had pizza but that was because my sister overcooked the turkey and we had nothing else to eat, LOL. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

Turkey and mashed potatoes type deal. The traditional meal..
My grandmother has brunch for those who cannot make it to dinner.

My aunt always makes a great fruit salad type thing with whip-cream. It’s delicious
We do the turkey dinner every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas and I look forward to it all year, our Thanksgiving is in October so its not too close to Christmas.
Ham, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, veggies and rolls. Homemade cookies for dessert.
My Family has Christmas Brunch. We get up and have a great big breakfast.
My Mom makes this really good Breakfast Caserole from the Bake until Bubbly Cook book. (With Sausage, Country Gravy, Onions Green Peppers and Eggs and Cheese oh it is Nummy) I make Fresh Home Made Hash Browns. Then we have Strawberries and Grapes and Pineapple and Melons, Champagne and OJ.
Then we open presents and enjoy each others company.
For Dinner we have a Baked Potato Bar. With Sour Cream, Chili, Cheese, Peas, Broccoli, Ham, and anything else you can think of to put on a Baked Potato.
We Bake Russet and Sweet Potatoes.
Then we make a home made Gingerbread and crush Candy Canes and put home made whipped Cream on Top for later.
We go out to eat. It is so much easier than having to host a dinner party at home.
We usually have a cold spread with ham, roast pork, roast beef, chicken, turkey, duck, roast lamb, prawns, lots of salads. For dessert we have pavlova and trifle and fresh fruit salad. Usually make Punch as well. Then we have all the nibblie type things. Leftovers for days aaagh! But in all seriousness there are a lot of people to feed. Happy Holidays!
