Best place to go fly fishing in the arkansas missouri area?

I am wanting to go asap on a fly fishing trip, and live in oklahoma. I want to know where the best places are to go in the arkansas missouri area, I would also like a places that is more secluded, not a tourist places. maybe somewhere i would have to hike to get

    I understand the White River proves it’s reputation for extra large trout, but being from the mountains i can’t pinpoint where good areas are. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

    You wont find too many places in Ark or Mo that have trout that arent tourist areas. My favorite is either below Table rock dam, or below either Norfolk or Bull Shoals. There are monster trout there. This wont be as good with dry flies, as the fish feed alont on scuds, so a scud immitation or hare’s ear nymphs may work better. I personally like below Bull Shoals the best.

    Little red river below the greer’s ferry lake dam was where the world record brown trout was caught.
